The division reports debuted last year. The goal of this article series is to provide a quick overview of all dynasty-relevant information from each division. Each team has multiple minor league levels, each containing plenty of impactful prospects which can feel impossible to keep up with. This article series, which will be updated once per month, will help dynasty managers stay up-to-date on performances, injuries, promotions, and more. New this season is the inclusion of tiers in the rankings. Next to their rank, each prospect is assigned a tier. The tier range is 1-5.
- Tier 1: A potential difference-making dynasty prospect. Somebody who would rank in the top-20ish prospects for dynasty baseball
- Tier 2: A still very good dynasty prospect who holds plenty of value. This prospect would typically rank in the 21-75 range
- Tier 3: A mid-tier prospect who could be valuable but has questions and concerns present in his profile ranking in the 76-150 range
- Tier 4: A prospect who is worth knowing, but is reserved for deeper leagues. This prospect would rank 151-250
- Tier 5: The rest of the prospects fall into Tier 5
The 2025 season is winding down. The fantasy baseball playoffs are in full swing and fall is in the air. Now is the time that most fantasy baseball nuts tend to lose focus. Unfortunately, dynasty managers are not afforded that opportunity. Staying up to date on the latest prospect news is essential to taking your team to the next level. Dynasty leagues never sleep. This article updates the Washington Nationals prospect rankings while providing news and notes on the latest promotions and performances.
Notable Prospect Performances:
- Second-round pick Ethan Petry has already hit two professional home runs. Concerns over Petry’s hit tool pushed him down draft boards until Washington selected him at 42nd overall. The part of his game never in doubt was power. Petry is already showing that at a professional level with two home runs in 23 games at Low-A. In a small sample, Petry’s contact rate remains below 70%. He does not land inside of Washington’s top ten prospects.
- Angel Feliz has been struggling offensively since his promotion to Low-A. Feliz entered the season with high expectations but has been largely disappointing this year. He hit .264 in 53 Complex League games but is batting just .214 since his promotion to Low-A. The bright side has been three home runs in 30 games, which is a positive sign toward his future ceiling.
Notable Promotions and News:
- Eli Willits has started playing professional games in Low-A. Dynasty managers are getting their first professional looks at Willits before FYPD this offseason. Willits will spend the remainder of 2025 at Low-A as a 17-year-old. The first overall pick this year’s draft is batting .298 with two stolen bases in his first 14 games. He should be considered a top-five pick in FYPDs.
- Jarlin Susana is back on the IL. Crushing news for a pitching prospect who missed multiple months earlier this season with a shoulder injury and is now on the IL with a lat straing. When on the mound, there are few pitching prospects who possess the ceiling that Susana has. His strikeout upside is substantial, but durability concerns are growing larger with each injury.
