The division reports debuted last year. The goal of this article series is to provide a quick overview of all dynasty-relevant information from each division. Each team has multiple levels each containing plenty of impactful prospects which can feel impossible to keep up with. This article series, which will be updated once per month, will help dynasty managers stay up to date on performances, injuries, promotions, and more. New this season is the inclusion of tiers in the rankings. Next to their rank, each prospect is assigned a tier. The tier range is 1-5.
- Tier 1: A potential difference-making dynasty prospect. Somebody who would rank in the top-20ish prospects for dynasty baseball
- Tier 2: A still very good dynasty prospect who holds plenty of value. This prospect would typically rank in the 21-75 range
- Tier 3: A mid-tier prospect who could be valuable but has questions and concerns present in his profile ranking in the 76-150 range
- Tier 4: A prospect who is worth knowing, but is reserved for deeper leagues. This prospect would rank 151-250
- Tier 5: The rest of the prospects fall into Tier 5
This article details all of the changes dynasty managers need to know on prospects from the Athletics. The goal is to help dynasty managers stay updated on the latest information with in-depth looks at each specific team! Each division will come with a monthly update that readers can look forward to.

Notable Prospect Promotions and News
- It was a good draft day for the Athletics, who have three prospects that slide into their top 10 from the draft class. Jamie Arnold fell, then they were able to snag Devin Taylor and Gavin Turley later in the draft. Arnold has some of the highest potential of any arm in the FYPD class, instantly vaulting him near the top of this list. Taylor has a lot of power and has shown good contact skills, but has an aggressive approach. Turley has more questions about his contact ability, but he has a ton of power.
- The Athletics had a really good trade deadline for prospects, highlighted by bringing in Leo De Vries. They acquired one of the top prospects in baseball, and one of the best prospects traded in a very long time. They also brought in Braden Nett, who makes this top 10. Between the trade deadline and draft, there are five new faces on this list since last month. That is quite the overhaul of a prospect list.
- Luis Morales was in the second spot in July, but he’s been promoted to the big league club. He debuted as a reliever, but at the time of writing, an injury to Luis Severino has opened up a spot in the rotation for him. He went 2.2 innings in his first start without allowing a run and striking out four. He walked 5. His electric arm gives him huge upside in the long run, even though it seems like short outings will be where he’s at the rest of the season.
Notable Prospect Performances
- In the back third of the month, Henry Bolte was moved up from Midland to Las Vegas. Combined between both levels, the outfielder hit .320 through 50 at-bats. He showed the ability to hit for average during the month. That came without hitting a home run and stealing just one base. That’s a little crazy considering he has 37 steals on the year. It was an odd dry spell with his legs, and he does have eight homers on the year. Still, his average is encouraging because there is a track record for the rest of the skills.
"I think we have a great player in the making."@Athletics No. 6 prospect Henry Bolte stays sizzling hot at Triple-A (.349 AVG, .997 OPS), ripping his first @AviatorsLV homer out at 109.8 mph: https://t.co/1EctxdcXqz pic.twitter.com/2Rn8pYpCn5

- Ayden Johnson is a 17-year-old shortstop currently playing in the DSL. He’s gotten some hype based on his skill set. In July, he hit .328 with seven steals. He is still in search of his first professional home run. Considering he came into the pro ranks as a power-over-hit profile, that is very interesting moving forward. If his hit tool is better than originally thought and his power is what it’s supposed to be, that’s a really good base for fantasy production.
