Seattle Mariners Top Dynasty Prospects – September Edition

Seattle Mariners top dynasty prospects for the month of September

The division reports debuted last year. The goal of this article series is to provide a quick overview of all dynasty-relevant information from each division. Each team has multiple levels each containing plenty of impactful prospects which can feel impossible to keep up with. This article series, which will be updated once per month, will help dynasty managers stay up to date on performances, injuries, promotions, and more. New this season is the inclusion of tiers in the rankings. Next to their rank, each prospect is assigned a tier. The tier range is 1-5.

  • Tier 1: A potential difference-making dynasty prospect. Somebody who would rank in the top-20ish prospects for dynasty baseball
  • Tier 2: A still very good dynasty prospect who holds plenty of value. This prospect would typically rank in the 21-75 range
  • Tier 3: A mid-tier prospect who could be valuable but has questions and concerns present in his profile ranking in the 76-150 range
  • Tier 4: A prospect who is worth knowing, but is reserved for deeper leagues. This prospect would rank 151-250
  • Tier 5: The rest of the prospects fall into Tier 5

This article details all of the changes dynasty managers need to know about prospects from the Mariners. The goal is to help dynasty managers stay updated on the latest information with in-depth looks at each specific team! Each division will come with a monthly update that readers can look forward to.

Notable Prospect Promotions and News

  • When September call-ups rolled around, the Mariners brought Harry Ford back up to the majors, effectively dropping him off this list. Playing time will still be hard to come by with a Cal Raleigh-shaped obstacle in his path, but Seattle will get another look at him against big league arms. Prior to the move, Ford was rocking a .283/.408/.460 slash line in Triple-A with 16 homers and 7 steals.
  • After losing Michael Arroyo, Lazaro Montes, and Colt Emerson to promotions, the Everett AquaSox didn’t have to wait long to reload, as Felnin Celesten was promoted to High-A in mid-August. The new level hasn’t been kind to Celesten in the early going, hitting .158 with a homer and a steal in 38 at-bats.

Notable Prospect Performances

  • During August, Jurrangelo Cjintje was promoted to the Double-A level. While it isn’t all roses, as evidenced by a 4.58 ERA in his August starts at the level, there have been some very positive takeaways. For instance, he struck out 20 batters in 17.2 innings. His September got off to a really good start, allowing just a run over 6 innings while striking out 7. The switch-pitcher has swing and miss stuff, but will still need more seasoning heading into 2026.

  • The Mariners 5th 5th-rounder brings with him the dream of a power/speed combination. He breaks this top 10 after being assigned to Single-A, where he’s off to a .429 start in a couple games. The draft year stats won’t tell all, but it’s good to see him hit in a very small sample. If he can make good on his raw power, in addition to his speed, he’ll be an interesting FYPD decision in deeper leagues.
