The division reports debuted last year. The goal of this article series is to provide a quick overview of all dynasty-relevant information from each division. Each team has multiple levels each containing plenty of impactful prospects which can feel impossible to keep up with. This article series, which will be updated once per month, will help dynasty managers stay up to date on performances, injuries, promotions, and more. New this season is the inclusion of tiers in the rankings. Next to their rank, each prospect is assigned a tier. The tier range is 1-5.
- Tier 1: A potential difference-making dynasty prospect. Somebody who would rank in the top-20ish prospects for dynasty baseball
- Tier 2: A still very good dynasty prospect who holds plenty of value. This prospect would typically rank in the 21-75 range
- Tier 3: A mid-tier prospect who could be valuable but has questions and concerns present in his profile ranking in the 76-150 range
- Tier 4: A prospect who is worth knowing, but is reserved for deeper leagues. This prospect would rank 151-250
- Tier 5: The rest of the prospects fall into Tier 5
This article details all of the changes dynasty managers need to know about prospects from the Rangers. The goal is to help dynasty managers stay updated on the latest information with in-depth looks at each specific team! Each division will come with a monthly update that readers can look forward to.
This list features prospects not currently in the Majors.
Notable Prospect Promotions and News
- The Rangers selected Gavin Fien with the 12th overall pick of the draft. He signed under slot as a prep bat. He’s a big guy with good bat speed and there is a belief power is on the way as he moves through pro ball. He was drafted as a shortstop, though it’s generally believed that he will wind up at third base in the long term.
- After lighting up the Complex, Devin Fitz-Gerald put his name on fantasy radars in a big way. He didn’t get to play too long in Single-A before getting hurt. He’s currently sitting on the 7-day IL and hasn’t played since July 2nd. There isn’t any publicly available information about what the injury is or when he may return to action. Still, Fitz-Gerald showed out well when healthy this year, and there’s cause for excitement.
Notable Prospect Performances
- Yolfran Castillo hit well enough in July to earn a promotion to Single-A in early August. Over the course of July, Castillo hit .280 with a home run and four stolen bases. The 6’3″ infielder has shown good contact skills over the course of his career, but the counting stats are still just potential. While his performance in July was noteworthy, it leaves some to be desired for fantasy purposes. Despite that, he is an extremely exciting prospect based on what could be down the road.

Gets on base at a high rate, but not a ton of pop right now at the plate – Can grow into his body more I think to find more power

- One pitcher that is shooting up rankings is Caden Scarborough. His performance in July is one big reason why. He wound up throwing 19.1 innings across five appearances, four starts, with a 1.40 ERA with 23 strikeouts, and just four walks. It was certainly a standout month for the 20-year-old righty, who was a 6th-rounder back in 2023.
