The division reports debuted last year. The goal of this article series is to provide a quick overview of all dynasty-relevant information from each division. Each team has multiple levels each containing plenty of impactful prospects which can feel impossible to keep up with. This article series, which will be updated once per month, will help dynasty managers stay up to date on performances, injuries, promotions, and more. New this season is the inclusion of tiers in the rankings. Next to their rank, each prospect is assigned a tier. The tier range is 1-5.
- Tier 1: A potential difference-making dynasty prospect. Somebody who would rank in the top-20ish prospects for dynasty baseball
- Tier 2: A still very good dynasty prospect who holds plenty of value. This prospect would typically rank in the 21-75 range
- Tier 3: A mid-tier prospect who could be valuable but has questions and concerns present in his profile ranking in the 76-150 range
- Tier 4: A prospect who is worth knowing, but is reserved for deeper leagues. This prospect would rank 151-250
- Tier 5: The rest of the prospects fall into Tier 5
This article details all of the changes dynasty managers need to know about prospects from the Mariners. The goal is to help dynasty managers stay updated on the latest information with in-depth looks at each specific team! Each division will come with a monthly update that readers can look forward to.
This list features prospects not currently in the Majors.
Notable Prospect Promotions and News
- The Mariners got lucky and were able to take Kade Anderson with the third pick of the draft. He was one of the favorites to go first overall, but he slid after the Nationals and Angels did weird things at the top of the draft. Anderson signed with the Mariners under slot and has the potential to land near the top of their future rotation.
- Colt Emerson has been promoted to Double-A. He has been mashing the ball enough to earn a promotion to once again join the likes of Michael Arroyo and Lazaro Montes. Emerson hit .281 with 11 homers in High-A and has started his Double-A career, hitting .208 with a homer through 24 at-bats.
- The Mariners were buying at the Trade Deadline, but they managed to only trade one of the prospects from last month’s top 10 prospects. Tyler Locklear was sent to the Diamondbacks as the headline of the Eugenio Suárez trade. Locklear has taken the role of everyday first baseman in Arizona.
Notable Prospect Performances
- The Mariners’ best hitting prospect, and borderline best prospect, Michael Arroyo, spent all of July in Double-A and did nothing but hit. He ended the month hitting .293, but with only one home run. The power should come around more; he has 17 homers on the year, but only two since joining the level. His ability to hit will drive the profile for fantasy, but he showed that he can make the most of his power in High-A. Arroyo is limited by his position for value; if he were a SS, he would be the clear-cut best prospect in this system.

- Ryan Sloan is one of the higher-potential pitchers from the FYPD class, and he showed why during the month of July. Over the course of the month, he threw 16 innings across 4 starts with 20 strikeouts and just 3 walks. The up arrow for Sloan is going to keep growing, if it’s not already extremely big. For the season, he’s struck out 77 batters through 70.2 innings with a 3.44 ERA.
