New York Mets Top Dynasty Prospects- September Edition

New York Mets Top Prospects September 2025 Update

The division reports debuted last year. The goal of this article series is to provide a quick overview of all dynasty-relevant information from each division. Each team has multiple minor league levels, each containing plenty of impactful prospects which can feel impossible to keep up with. This article series, which will be updated once per month, will help dynasty managers stay up-to-date on performances, injuries, promotions, and more. New this season is the inclusion of tiers in the rankings. Next to their rank, each prospect is assigned a tier. The tier range is 1-5.

  • Tier 1: A potential difference-making dynasty prospect. Somebody who would rank in the top-20ish prospects for dynasty baseball
  • Tier 2: A still very good dynasty prospect who holds plenty of value. This prospect would typically rank in the 21-75 range
  • Tier 3: A mid-tier prospect who could be valuable but has questions and concerns present in his profile ranking in the 76-150 range
  • Tier 4: A prospect who is worth knowing, but is reserved for deeper leagues. This prospect would rank 151-250
  • Tier 5: The rest of the prospects fall into Tier 5

The 2025 season is winding down. The fantasy baseball playoffs are in full swing and fall is in the air. Now is the time that most fantasy baseball nuts tend to lose focus. This article updates the New York Mets prospect rankings while providing news and notes on the latest promotions and performances.

Top 10 Prospects

Notable Prospect Performances:

  • Jacob Reimer has officially settled in at Double-A. Reimer has certainly made a name for himself this season and is now up to 17 home runs and 15 steals while batting .282 this season. Following a promotion to Double-A, Reimer struggled initially but has settled in nicely. Since August 14, Reimer is slashing .426/.487/.794. Following the promotions of other prospects, Reimer ranks as New York’s third-best prospect.
  • Jeremy Rodriguez has continued to look lost offensively. Things have not gotten any better for Rodriguez as the 2025 season has moved along. In 112 games this season, Rodriguez is batting .202 with just one home run. With no development to his power and a poor batting average, Rodriguez is officially off dynasty radars.

Notable Promotions and News:

  • Nolan McLean and Jonah Tong made their Major League debuts. McLean has been sensational through his first four starts. He owns a 1.37 ERA through 26.1 innings. Tong has also looked the part at the Major League level and both should turn into fantasy-relevant dynasty arms for years to come.
  • Brandon Sproat also joined McLean and Tong in the Major Leagues. Sproat’s debut was a bit delayed from the other two, but he looked strong in his debut. He pitched six innings, giving up three runs and striking out seven. Sproat is a tier below the other two prospects but is certainly fantasy relevant.
  • Pitching prospect Will Watson was promoted from High-A to Double-A.Watson’s promotion came later than many expected after he pitched to a 1.70 ERA this season at High-A. His first two appearances at Double-A have not gone well, but he has an intriguing arsenal with upside. He is a deep-league name to know.
  • Kevin Parada has been promoted from Double-A to Triple-A. Parada was the team’s first round pick in 2022 but has largely fallen off of dynasty radars after struggles offensively. He has rebounded nicely this season and was batting .254 with 10 home runs in Double-A prior to his promotion. There is not a ton of dynasty upside here, but there is little in terms of depth ahead of him in the Mets’ organization. He is now just one step away from the Major Leagues.
