The division reports debuted last year. The goal of this article series is to provide a quick overview of all dynasty-relevant information from each division. Each team has multiple minor league levels, each containing plenty of impactful prospects which can feel impossible to keep up with. This article series, which will be updated once per month, will help dynasty managers stay up-to-date on performances, injuries, promotions, and more. New this season is the inclusion of tiers in the rankings. Next to their rank, each prospect is assigned a tier. The tier range is 1-5.
- Tier 1: A potential difference-making dynasty prospect. Somebody who would rank in the top-20ish prospects for dynasty baseball
- Tier 2: A still very good dynasty prospect who holds plenty of value. This prospect would typically rank in the 21-75 range
- Tier 3: A mid-tier prospect who could be valuable but has questions and concerns present in his profile ranking in the 76-150 range
- Tier 4: A prospect who is worth knowing, but is reserved for deeper leagues. This prospect would rank 151-250
- Tier 5: The rest of the prospects fall into Tier 5
The 2025 season is winding down. The fantasy baseball playoffs are in full swing and fall is in the air. Now is the time that most fantasy baseball nuts tend to lose focus. Unfortunately, dynasty managers are not afforded that opportunity. Staying up to date on the latest prospect news is essential to taking your team to the next level. Dynasty leagues never sleep. This article updates the Miami Marlins prospect rankings while providing news and notes on the latest promotions and performances.
Notable Prospect Performances:
- The dynasty community may need to start paying attention to Kemp Alderman. The entirety of Alderman’s 2025 season has been special. He hit 15 homers and stole 20 bases in 110 games in Double-A, but has been even better in six games at Triple-A. Alderman has already hit five homers in six games with a max EV of 114.4 mph. His power and speed blend creates significant upside, although his suspect hit tool keeps him in the fifth tier of dynasty prospects.
- Drew Faurot is performing at a level that should grab the attention of dynasty managers. Faurot already ranked as a top ten prospect for Miami after the draft, but his professional career is off to a fast start. In 21 games at Low-A, Faurot is batting .329 with five stolen bases. He has plus speed and plus power creating significant upside. The biggest thing to watch is how his aggressive approach translates to professional baseball. So far, so good.
Notable Promotions and News:
- Thomas White is heading to Triple-A. White needs to be considered one of the game’s best pitching prospects. Now, dynasty managers will get additional insight into his pitch arsenal and the metrics behind it. Even while we wait on that, there is no doubt that White’s upside is significant. White owns a 2.13 ERA in 19 starts this season with a 38.1% strikeout rate
- PJ Morlando is back on the IL. Injuries continue to be the primary theme throughout Morlando’s professional career. He has played in just 58 games this season, batting .215 with five homers and eight stolen bases. The lone bright spot has been an excellent walk rate in what has been an otherwise disappointing start to his professional career.
- Karson Milbrandt has made his way to Double-A. The Marlins have played things slow and steady with Milbrandt but his success in High-A earned him this promotion up to Double-A. In his final seven starts prior to his promotion, Milbrandt struck out 39.4% of the batters he faced with a 1.68 FIP. He has a solid fastball and plus slider with below-average command being the biggest issue.
- Dax Fulton earned a promotion to Triple-A. After missing the entire 2024 season with an arm injury, Fulton has pitched well enough to receive a late-season promotion to Triple-A. The timing of Fulton’s promotion is a bit surprising as he pitched to a 7.52 ERA in his final six Double-A starts. His best offering is a big curveball, although the rest of his arsenal is underwhelming. He does not fall inside of Miami’s top ten prospects.
