The division reports debuted last year. The goal of this article series is to provide a quick overview of all dynasty-relevant information from each division. Each team has multiple minor league levels, each containing plenty of impactful prospects which can feel impossible to keep up with. This article series, which will be updated once per month, will help dynasty managers stay up-to-date on performances, injuries, promotions, and more. New this season is the inclusion of tiers in the rankings. Next to their rank, each prospect is assigned a tier. The tier range is 1-5.
- Tier 1: A potential difference-making dynasty prospect. Somebody who would rank in the top-20ish prospects for dynasty baseball
- Tier 2: A still very good dynasty prospect who holds plenty of value. This prospect would typically rank in the 21-75 range
- Tier 3: A mid-tier prospect who could be valuable but has questions and concerns present in his profile ranking in the 76-150 range
- Tier 4: A prospect who is worth knowing, but is reserved for deeper leagues. This prospect would rank 151-250
- Tier 5: The rest of the prospects fall into Tier 5
The Boston Red Sox are chock full of high-end talent. With two Top 10 overall prospects and several more Top 100 players, the Sox have rapidly ascended as one of the strongest systems in the game. Here is a look at their top prospects and other news in their organization.
Notable Prospect Promotions and News
- 2024 first-round pick Payton Tolle joined Double-A Portland on June 22nd after performing well at High-A to open the year. In his debut outing with the Sea Dogs, Tolle tossed five innings, allowing just one run on one hit and tallying nine strikeouts. The talented left-hander has a 39.3% strikeout rate in 2025, thanks to a 17.8% swinging strike rate. His 32.1% K-BB rate trails only Travis Sykora (WSH) among qualified MiLB starters, while his 88 strikeouts rank inside the Top 20.
- Brandon Clarke returned from a blister/fingernail injury on June 26th, tossing two innings against Rome, allowing one earned run with three strikeouts. Clarke has been a fast riser in the Sox system despite throwing just 26 innings in his pro debut this season. In his first eight starts, Clarke has a 2.08 ERA with 41 strikeouts and a 17.3% swinging strike rate. His momentum started in the Spring Breakout, and despite the injury, he remains a big-time breakout name in Dynasty.
Notable Prospect Performances
- Connelly Early has flown under the radar since joining the Sox organization as a fifth-round pick in 2023. In 33 career starts, he’s got a 3.29 ERA and is averaging well over a strikeout per inning, but he lacks the flashy stuff of guys like Yordanny Monegro or Brandon Clarke. Early has dominated in Double-A this season. His ERA sits at 1.94 with a 25% K-BB rate, and if his trajectory continues, I’m confident he may get a few MLB starts to close out the season.
- The Portland SeaDogs (AA) threw a combined no-hitter on June 22nd against Akron. RHP David Sandlin, one of the top SP prospects in the system, tossed the first six scoreless innings, allowing three walks but punching out nine. Former AFL participant Christopher Troye pitched the 7th and 8th before Jonathan Brand closed it out. The most notable prospect in the performance is Sandlin, who currently holds a 3.66 ERA and 1.16 WHIP in 13 AA appearances.
Payton Tolle was absolutely filthy for the Portland Sea Dogs against Binghamton Saturday night.
The Red Sox 15th ranked prospect struck out nine over five innings.
He threw a few nasty sliders and his SINKER was clocked as high as 98 MPH!!! @SoxProspects @MLBPipeline @RedSox pic.twitter.com/tIvJmxOeON
