The division reports debuted last year. The goal of this article series is to provide a quick overview of all dynasty-relevant information from each division. Each team has multiple levels each containing plenty of impactful prospects which can feel impossible to keep up with. This article series, which will be updated once per month, will help dynasty managers stay up to date on performances, injuries, promotions, and more. New this season is the inclusion of tiers in the rankings. Next to their rank, each prospect is assigned a tier. The tier range is 1-5.
- Tier 1: A potential difference-making dynasty prospect. Somebody who would rank in the top-20ish prospects for dynasty baseball
- Tier 2: A still very good dynasty prospect who holds plenty of value. This prospect would typically rank in the 21-75 range
- Tier 3: A mid-tier prospect who could be valuable but has questions and concerns present in his profile ranking in the 76-150 range
- Tier 4: A prospect who is worth knowing, but is reserved for deeper leagues. This prospect would rank 151-250
- Tier 5: The rest of the prospects fall into Tier 5
This article details all of the changes dynasty managers need to know about prospects from the Rangers. The goal is to help dynasty managers stay updated on the latest information with in-depth looks at each specific team! Each division will come with a monthly update that readers can look forward to.
This list features prospects not currently in the Majors.
Notable Prospect Promotions and News
- After being one of the better hitters on the Complex, Devin Fitz-Gerald was promoted to Single-A. Fitz-Gerald showed good pop, but more importantly, he has great plate skills. He’s been a huge helium guy for me, personally. At both levels so far, he’s walked more than he’s struck out, but hasn’t had his power show through yet in Single-A. This is a deep league roster-type player, and one who could continue to rise if his bat warms up at the new level.
- Despite his great season, David Davalillo has been placed on the Developmental List in Double-A. There hasn’t been an announced reason why, but he was pitching exceptionally well prior to that. Between High-A and Double-A, he posted a 2.26 ERA with a strikeout rate of 32.3 percent and a 5.9 walk percentage.
Notable Prospect Performances
- A good season kept getting better for SP Kohl Drake during June. Over the course of the month, he posted a 1.64 ERA across 22 innings with 21 strikeouts. The strikeouts were actually down based on his 70 in 55.1 innings at the Double-A level. He was promoted to Triple-A, but hadn’t appeared in a game at the time of writing. The southpaw has been seemingly unhittable for the last two seasons and will continue his ascension one step away from an MLB debut.

- OF Maxton Martin made this list largely off his strong June at the Single-A level. For the month, he hit .295 with four home runs and four steals. He’s performing significantly better in the hitting department over the past two years on the Complex, which has led to success in other areas. Martin has struck out less this year, too. He does a little bit of everything, but isn’t standing out in any fantasy category. Still, he’s on pace to reach double-digit homers and steals this season.
