Milwaukee Brewers Top Dynasty Prospects – July Edition

The Brewers may have the best system in baseball, Martin tells you why

The division reports debuted last year. The goal of this article series is to provide a quick overview of all dynasty-relevant information from each division. Each team has multiple minor league levels, each containing plenty of impactful prospects, which can feel impossible to keep up with. This article series, which will be updated once per month, will help dynasty managers stay up-to-date on performances, injuries, promotions, and more. New this season is the inclusion of tiers in the rankings. Next to their rank, each prospect is assigned a tier. The tier range is 1-5.

  • Tier 1: A potential difference-making dynasty prospect. Somebody who would rank in the top-20ish prospects for dynasty baseball
  • Tier 2: A still very good dynasty prospect who holds plenty of value. This prospect would typically rank in the 21-75 range
  • Tier 3: A mid-tier prospect who could be valuable but has questions and concerns present in his profile, ranking in the 76-150 range
  • Tier 4: A prospect who is worth knowing, but is reserved for deeper leagues. This prospect would rank 151-250
  • Tier 5: The rest of the prospects fall into Tier 5

The Milwaukee Brewers have arguably the best system in the entire Minor Leagues, headlined by future star Jesus Made. The Brew Crew also has a mix of proximate prospects in addition to several high-end prospects playing in the lower levels. The future is very bright in Milwaukee; here are the Brewers’ top prospects!

Notable Prospect Promotions and News

  • In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past month, the Brewers promoted their top pitching prospect Jacob Misiorowski to the Major Leagues on June 12th, and he has been electric. In five starts since joining the Brew Crew, Mis has four wins with a 2.81 ERA and 33 strikeouts against 11 walks. His four-seam fastball is averaging nearly 100 mph, and Misiorowski has continued to display the gains in his command and control over the past 18 months. The 23-year-old has not only burst onto the scene but has immediately drawn praise as one of the top young starters in baseball and is already being compared to Paul Skenes. There’s a long way to go in his development and Major League career, but Mis is off to an incredible start.
  • It took just 14 games in June for 3B prospect Luke Adams to earn Player of the Month honors for the organization. Unfortunately, a shoulder injury sustained on June 20th has temporarily sidelined Adams, just as his bat was starting to pick up. During the month, Adams slashed .300/.462/.640 with five homers, 27 combined runs and RBI, and identical walk and strikeout numbers (13). Oddly enough, his .462 OBP was lower than his .485 mark in May as the 21-year-old pushed for three-straight seasons with an OBP over .400. The lone weakness to Adams’ profile thus far is the inability to hit for high averages, largely due to a 40% fly ball rate. His strikeout rates are routinely around 20% with high-teens walk rates, but thus far in his three-year career, he’s batting just .238. If Adams can find a way into the mid-.260s with his batting average, he will have a very fantasy-friendly profile.

Notable Prospect Performances

  • 2023 6th-round pick Cooper Pratt has been on everyone’s radar since his dazzling debut in the Arizona Complex League following the Draft. Pratt has shown an incredible feel to hit, outstanding athleticism around the field, and has recently started to tap into more power. The 20-year-old SS had a strong June, batting .292 with eight XBH (1 HR), nine steals, and more walks than Ks (14 to 13). Playing exclusively at Double-A, Pratt has five homers, 17 doubles, and 20 steals this season, although his batting average is just .254. On the other hand, his strikeout rate is a career-best 14.6% and his contact skills have remained consistent.
  • When the Brewers acquired Coleman Crow during the 2023 offseason, they were taking a bit of a risk on a kid who struggled to figure things out early in the Minors but was on the upswing until he tore his UCL that season. After missing all of 2024 recovering, Crow returned to the Brewers organization on May 6th and has been stellar. In June, Crow pitched to a 1.06 ERA with 24 strikeouts and one walk over 17 1/3 innings. In three starts, he allowed a total of 11 base runners with only two touching home. Crow was promoted to AAA on July 3rd as a reward for his outstanding performance and could be in a position to help the Brewers down the stretch, likely in a relief role. If you’re a Dynasty owner looking to stash a high-upside SP prospect who has little fanfare, Crow is your guy.
