Rankings of the SP Streamers for today’s, tomorrow’s, and the day after tomorrow’s games for fantasy baseball.
Every day of the 2026 baseball season, I’ll be looking at today’s and tomorrow’s slate of scheduled starting pitchers and ranking their matchups for your fantasy baseball streams.
There’s a lot that goes into this and you can hang out with me on twitch.tv/pitcherlist to talk about the specific ranks as I make them every weekday morning from 10am – 12pm ET. If you have questions about these ranks, please ask during the morning Twitch AMA. Those are my office hours as I generally don’t answer comments on the site.
There are four tiers to these rankings with 12-teamers in mind:
Auto-Start – Just do it. Don’t overthink this, start the man. This includes “if I have them rostered, I’m starting them” pitchers.
Probably Start – I’m likely starting these arms, though I recognize there is more risk than we’d like there to be. Either it’s a tough matchup for a good-not-elite pitcher or a weak lineup for a volatile arm. These pitchers have a 50% or greater chance of performing well in my view and I’m starting them in the majority of situations.
Questionable Start – Think of this tier as “I don’t want to start these pitchers in a vacuum, but you could do worse.” Streamers found in this tier are not pitchers I’m targeting and are only if you are in dire need of one. To play it safe with streaming, just start the Probably Start streamers.
Do Not Start – The reward is not worth the risk. Don’t do it. Seriously, these pitchers have a very slim chance of success or sometimes none at all.
Obviously, there will be circumstances where pitchers should move between teams for your situation specifically and these new tiers should act as a little more help than the straight table from last year.
Please keep in mind that streaming is far from a perfect play. In fact, if they work out over half the time, I’d consider it a success. These matchup rankings & streamer picks are going to be wildly different than the actual results throughout the year, so please, have sympathy before the scathing comments and tweets. I’m only trying to help!
There is a second table (and now third for PL Pro members) for tomorrow’s starting pitcher matchups as well, helping everyone get a jump on their nightly pickups. Please note that these matchups are subject to change, though, and there will be times when I have the incorrect pitcher going. I thank you for your future understanding.
And of course, there are my streaming picks of the day. Please keep in mind that for my streaming record, I am forced to pick a streamer every day even if they are in the bottom tier. Those highlighted in Green are that day’s streaming pick in the second tier and I’d roll with them everywhere. Those in Yellow are in the third tier and should be okay if you’re searching for something on a given day, but I don’t recommend streaming unless you’re in need. Finally, those are Red are those I really don’t want to start (they are labeled as “Do Not Start,” after all) but have no other choice. Don’t stream Do Not Start pitchers unless you are truly desperate. A streaming pick is defined as “rostered in 20% or fewer leagues” according to Fantasy Pros. This really emphasizes the point that I’d be happy if over 50% of these worked. I could do the whole sub 30/40% rostered, but there’s no fun in that, and it applies to a smaller audience.
As I do my rankings, I thought it would be helpful to showcase a table of how we’re ranking offenses, granted by our PLV-powered Projections (in alphabetical order by tier):
Remember, these offensive rankings are based on each offense’s Process+ so far this year and how we project their lineups moving forward. It means you’re going to see a little different offensive rankings than you may see elsewhere, and there will always be some surprises. This is based on skills, not purely results! To spice up these streaming recommendations, I’ve included our new daily fantasy baseball projections powered by PLV, and I’ll be competing against PL Bot to pick the best streaming option each day.
These projections are different from your typical projections as they incorporate our pitch quantifier PLV, assessing pitcher and hitter skills at a much more granular level than your standard box score.

The streaming record is determined by “Was this a productive game for 12-teamers if I started them?” Roughly a PQS with a Win and a strikeout per inning with a sub 1.20 WHIP, with a minimum of 5 IP. Close calls are decided by Twitch chat.
Note: If no pitcher under 20% rostered would have qualified for a “Streaming Win,” no loss is granted.
(Opener) – Outlines that a pitcher is being opened for that day & the pitcher listed will follow the opener.

Auto-Starts
Tarik Skubal vs. KCR – Aces gonna ace.
Cam Schlittler @ PHI – Aces gonna ace. Warren pitched in relief on Wednesday for the doubleheader, moving him to Sunday, Schlittler to Friday, Weathers to Saturday.
Logan Webb vs. LAA – It’s a great matchup for him to get back on the horse.
Jesús Luzardo vs. NYY – It’s the Yankees, but this could be Luzardo’s Coronation Day.
Bryce Miller @ TEX – Miller is showcasing lower velocity but still is quality. The fear is injury and that this gets worse. Fortuantely, it’s a good matchup in Texas.
Probably Starts
Joey Cantillo @ TBR – Despite his struggles last game, I’m confident in his curveball affinity and extra velocity.
Trevor Rogers vs. ATL – He’s pumping 94+ at the top of the zone and I dig it. Even against Atlanta.
Shane McClanahan vs. CLE – His fastball command was terrible last game, but it’s Cleveland. JoRam is back, though. Still.
Shane Drohan vs. COL – It’s Rockie Road. Gotta love that.
Jared Jones vs. CHC – Jones has two starts under his belt, performing like the man we expected him to be, with 60% four-seamers leading the way. Please do it again.
Matthew Boyd @ PIT – It’s in PNC Park and Boyd should be a solid Toby if not a Holly moving forward.
Questionable Starts
Dustin May vs. CIN – I like May’s stuff, he simply hasn’t come through in the last few outings. I’m tempted to push him into the second tier given the home park, but I understand caution.
MacKenzie Gore vs. SEA – It’s not @TEA and Gore isn’t executing his arsenal beautifully.
Trey Yesavage @ BOS – Who knows if he’ll find enough strikes.
Roki Sasaki @ NYM – Sasaki was throwing CHED at 100+ mph against the Yankees. Can he do it again?
Davis Martin vs. HOU – Martin is a 15-team Toby against a mid offense.
Eduardo Rodriguez @ WSH – He looked terrible last time out + the Nationals love LHP.
Do Not Starts
Zebby Matthews vs. ATH – He throws too many hittable strikes.
Spencer Arrighetti @ CHW – The inconsistency and overreliance on his curveball is too much for me.
Patrick Sandoval vs. TOR – Maybe he can make it work like his peak days with changeup/slider.
Grayson Rodriguez @ SFG – This hasn’t gone well so far, but maybe he can locate his fastball/change enough in a good park?
Noah Cameron (Opener) @ DET – Oh how I wish I could bank on his command being there.
Zack Littell (Opener) vs. ARI – How long will he go? At least he has an Opener, making for some potential value.
Jacob Lopez @ MIN – I wonder if JLo can ever get back to his hot 2025 summer.
Ryan Gusto vs. SDP – Not the worst matchup for Gusto, but it would require him to use his solid stuff appropriately.
Randy Vásquez (Opener) @ MIA – With Márquez opening for him, Vásquez could be a sneaky bulk Win play.
Rhett Lowder @ STL – I think there is some potential here, but let’s not chase it now
Sean Manaea vs. LAD – It’s the Dodgers and Manaea is not looking great.
Grant Holmes @ BAL – He could go a strikeout per inning, but the ratios are unlikely to help.
Tomoyuki Sugano @ MIL – At least he’s on the road? Maybe a stupid sneaky Win…? Yeah, I know.
Saturday 7/25 Starting Pitcher Streamer Rankings
Auto-Starts
Yoshinobu Yamamoto @ NYM – Aces gonna ace.
Paul Skenes vs. CHC – Aces gonna ace, and without a decline in velocity.
Hunter Greene @ STL – This is Coronation Day
Dylan Cease @ BOS – Cease should easily get back on track.
Bryan Woo @ TEX – I know, I know. NICK, HE’S ON THE ROAD! I really don’t think it’s as big of a deal as the small, grouping sample outlines.
Sonny Gray vs. TOR – He’s on a hot streak, but showed signs of it waning last time out that I really hope were absolutely nothing.
Foster Griffin vs. ARI – He’s been too dang good to bench.
Sean Burke vs. HOU – Ditto.
Eury Pérez vs. SDP – Is Eury finally turning it on like we hoped he would at the start of the year?
Probably Starts
Shota Imanaga @ PIT – He’s in lovely PNC Park and I’m expecting better than 90.4 mph fastball velocity.
Nolan McLean vs. LAD – It’s the Dodgers, but he’s improved vastly over the last month.
Casey Mize vs. KCR – He’s a solid Toby in a good matchup.
Michael Wacha @ DET – Spider-Men-Pointing-At-Each-Other.jpg.
Nick Martinez vs. CLE – Don’t expect strikeouts, but this Vargas Rule is still alive.
Questionable Starts
Robert Gasser vs. COL – It’s Rockie Road. I don’t love it, but it seems as safe as it gets for Gasser.
Nathan Eovaldi vs. SEA – He’s allowed 3+ ER in nine of his last ten starts. Surely that won’t last.
Ryan Weathers @ PHI – He’s Luzardo-lite. You’re experiencing one of the rough stretches and this may be his last opportunity to showcase he’s worthy of a starting spot over Will Warren if the Yankees were to acquire an arm at the deadline
Hunter Brown @ CHW – It feels wrong to place Brown down here, but his four-seamer feel has been atrocious, and his sinker followed suit last time out. Without the heaters working, he’s not the Hunter you love.
Robbie Ray vs. LAA – Why are you throwing sinkers instead of four-seamers? STOP IT. STOP EATING THROWING SINKERS OVER FOUR-SEAMERS.
Tanner Bibee @ TBR – Flip a coin.
Ryan Johnson @ SFG – He’s been shockingly productive and heads to Oracle Park. I find it hard to rely heavily on a ~90 mph right-hander.
Do Not Starts
Brandon Young vs. ATL – He’s had some great moments, but it’s Atlanta and I really don’t buy into his arsenal.
Connor Prielipp vs. ATH – It’s a Still ILL as Prielipp returns from a blister. I hope the curveball comes back in full.
Andre Pallante vs. CIN – His four-seamer command has been much worse in his last two games.
Bryce Elder @ BAL – The pumpkin returned to form ages ago.
JP Sears @ MIA – Maaaaybe he can live on the outside edge with fastballs and changeups and get through five?
Ryan Feltner @ MIL – At least it’s not in Coors.
Mitch Bratt @ WSH – A young mediocre southpaw against the Nationals? Oh no.
Brian Keller vs. NYY – It’s unclear what the Phillies plan to do on Saturday. Keller could be called up and be the bulk arm, it could just be a bullpen day, who knows. Just avoid it.
Athletics Bullpen @ MIN – Ginn hit the IL = Bullpen day in all likelihood.
