RP Ranks 3/28: The Top 100 Relievers for Save+Hold Leagues

Ranking Baseball's Top Relievers for 2025...PLUS a Bullpen Depth Chart!

Since it’s been only one day of games, we don’t have a top SV+HLD leaderboard from the past week. That being said, Blake Treinen and Tanner Scott each have two SV+HLD’s on the season, with the duo earning a save and hold each. Scott got the eighth-inning usage last night with two lefties due up in the eighth, one of which was Kerry Carpenter who has more extreme platoon splits than Riley Greene (due up in the ninth). I’d imagine this will be a thing throughout the season, but I still see Scott factoring into 60-70% of the save chances, putting Treinen close to must-roster territory in all league formats given how great he looks and how many chances the Dodgers will give him. For what it’s worth, this is the exact same usage I picture for the Red Sox (Chapman the lefty, Slaten the righty) and Diamondbacks (Puk the lefty, Martinez the righty) bullpens. It may also be what the Phillies wind up doing with Alvarado and Romano and should be what the Rangers do with Garcia and Martin/Jackson.

What happened to the daily RP ranks column? Did it get phased out for this year?

  2. Doug B. says:

Lots of teams have off-days, including the Yankees, so you’ll probably end up NOT wanting Cruz or Weaver off waivers.

  3. Keith says:

Is this Ranking meant for us with saves and holds, but as separate categories?
