Every day of the 2026 baseball season, I’ll be looking at today’s slate of games and providing potential relievers to stream for your fantasy baseball teams based on recent bullpen usage.
Transactions (April 05, 2026)
- Los Angeles Angels designated LHP Joey Lucchesi for assignment.

- Toronto Blue Jays selected the contract of LHP Joe Mantiply from Buffalo Bisons.
- St. Louis Cardinals selected the contract of LHP Jared Shuster from Memphis Redbirds.

Bullpen Depth Charts
- Should have all of their key bullpen pieces today.
- Whitlock returns today, and Chapman and Slaten should be available if needed as well.
- OFF today
- Baker got the ninth yesterday and should be available again today. Jax could be off after throwing 30 pitches over 2 innings yesterday.
- Full bullpen availability here.
- Taylor will once again open today. I think Seranthony is available for a potential save chance.
- We could potentially see Erik Sabrowski get a save chance today after Smith threw three 30+ pitches last night, and Armstrong got closer to 30.
- Jansen and Finnegan are good to go.
- Erceg is probably more questionable today than out after yesterday’s long outing, and the same goes for Strahm. Maybe Schreiber sees a save chance today?
- Funderburk is probably available since he’s only thrown five pitches in his last two outings. He and Sands could finish the game today.
- OFF today
- Abreu and King should be good to go here; unfortunately for them though, they go from Sacramento to Colorado.
- Romano and Pomeranz should be back to finish things off tonight if the Angels have a lead.
- Muñoz could be more on the questionable side after he was visited by the trainer during yesterday’s game. He stayed in a finshed the inning, but still worth noting.
- This bullpen should be available today, who would get the save chance remains to be seen.
- The late-inning trio should be good to go here.
- Pete Fairbanks is on Paternity Leave, so this bullpen is open for the next couple of days. Tyler Phillips might be the best bet for a save today?
- OFF today
- Full availability today.
- Beeter and Pérez should be available.
- Palencia should be available to work back-to-back days if needed.
- Should have everyone here.
- No Megill or Uribe probably means Angel Zerpa would get the ninth today.
- Soto and Santana should be available.
- The late-inning trio should be available to pitch again if needed.
- OFF today
- No Vodnik, so Juan Mejia or Jimmy Herget could see a save chance if one presents itself.
- Díaz should be available again if needed.
- Miller and Estrada likely need the day off, so we could see Adrian Morejon get a save.
- Walker hasn’t pitched in a while, so he should be available for a save chance.
Team Offense Rankings
Remember, these offensive rankings are based on each offense’s Process+ so far this year and how we project their lineups moving forward. It means you’re going to see a little different offensive rankings than you may see elsewhere, and there will always be some surprises. This is based on skills, not purely results! If you have questions about these offense rankings, reach out to Kyle Bland (@blandalytics).
