Francisco Alvarez – NYM (16% on Yahoo!): Alvarez faces the Nats and the back-end of the Braves’ rotation. He’s batting .286 with two home runs in the last week, and this looks like the perfect set of matchups to keep him going.

Freddy Fermin – KCR (1% on Yahoo!): Fermin has cemented his job as San Diego’s starting catcher. He’ll square off against the back half of the Giants’ rotation, followed by the top-end of the Dodgers’ rotation. He faced off against some great pitchers last week and batted .267 with a home run in that span. His value is still mostly in his playing time, but these NL West games have been slugfests all year.

Drake Baldwin – ATL (28% on Yahoo!): Baldwin has been excellent all year. The only thing slowing him down has been Sean Murphy taking over against left-handed pitching. Baldwin will play plenty of games next week when the Braves face just one southpaw. He’ll see the White Sox followed by the Mets, including a debut from Nolan McLean.

Ryan Jeffers – MIN (22% on Yahoo!): Jeffers was a streaming pick last week, and he’s earned another spin of the wheel. He has great matchups next week; the Twins will play the A’s, followed by the White Sox.

James McCann – ARI (0% on Yahoo!): McCann is a great deep league option. He draws a starter’s volume and is swinging a reasonably hot bat. The Guardians and the Reds don’t make for the best matchups, but they’ll do just fine for a deep league play like McCann.

Pedro Pagés – STL (1% on Yahoo!): Swinging a hot bat, we’ll see if he can keep it going against the Florida teams.

Ben Rice – NYY (31% on Yahoo!): My number one pick for shallow leagues. He’s an excellent hitter and plays every single day. He has some tougher matchups this week in the Rays and Red Sox, but he’s a cut above every other option at this rostership percentage.
